On November 24, the Directorate of United Museums of the Astana Akimat, in cooperation with School-Gymnasium No. 80 named after S. Seifullin and the Astana Daryny Center for Identifying and Supporting Gifted Children and Talented Youth, held the citywide competition “Saken Readings” among students in grades 8–11. The event was dedicated to the work of Saken Seifullin, an outstanding figure of Kazakh literature.
The main goal of the competition was to promote the literary heritage of the Kazakh people among schoolchildren through the works of Saken Seifullin. In addition, the event aimed to identify students' creative abilities, develop their aesthetic taste, and support and discover talented youth.
