Exhibition “Harsh Lessons of History”

From August 5 to 12, 2022, an exhibition titled “Harsh Lessons of History” was held in the Alash Hall. It presents photographs and archival documents received by the museum collection from participants of the international project “Urpaktar Umytpaidy. Descendants Remember,” descendants of the repressed, including collections of materials of Khasen Nurmukhamedov and his wife Kira Berseneva, Mukhamedkali and Shakitai Tatimov, Shakir and Gainizhamal Gaisin, Sulukhan Bigizbayeva, Klara Bron, and Yenta Lichtenstein.
