About the Directorate
Directorate of United Museums of the Astana Akimat
A museum is a city's memory spoken aloud: from the fates of the women of ALZHIR to the lines of Saken Seifullin and the wooden architecture of old Astana.
The State municipal enterprise "Directorate of United Museums" of the Astana Akimat has been operating since September 11, 2020, and coordinates the work of the city's museums and specialized divisions.
The Directorate includes the Museum of Arts, the ALZHIR Museum and Memorial Complex, the Saken Seifullin Museum, and the Monument Preservation Department.
