Day of Nature Reserves and National Parks

The Day of Nature Reserves and National Parks is a special day dedicated to nature reserves as unique places under state protection. These places are unique natural sites intended for scientific research, tourism, and recreation. The initiative to mark this day first appeared in 1997 at the suggestion of the organizations “World Wildlife Conservation Center” and “World Wildlife Fund.”
