July 11 – 165th Anniversary of the Birth of Composer Shakarim Kudaiberdiuly

Shakarim Kudaiberdiuly was a poet, thinker, historian, translator, and composer. He was born on July 11, 1858, in Chingistau, in the Kenbulak area along the Baikoshkar River. Shakarim was a figure who worked fruitfully in all genres of literature over more than half a century of his creative life. He studied literature, history, geography, natural sciences, physics, the art of the word, and the art of music.
