On March 16, 1992, by decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the National Guard, stationed in the settlement of Krasny Vostok in the Kaskelen District of Almaty Region, was established on the basis of the Internal Troops' emergency special-purpose brigade.

On March 16, 1992, by decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the National Guard, stationed in the settlement of Krasny Vostok in the Kaskelen District of Almaty Region, was established on the basis of the Internal Troops' emergency special-purpose brigade.
